	If you are looking for generic X programming, then there is one
good book by Nabajyoti Barkakatti ( I think Prentice Hall, not sure). If
you don't want do deal with the raw X, then go for some toolkit, in which
case I would recommend the gtk tutorial and examples that come with gtk
distribution. Same goes for Qt.
