if u r going to use netscape as a web browser, then your server will have to
implement the http protocol. Otherwise if u are going to use a java applet,
then u will find tons of examples on making a java chat client and server,
which u can customise for your own apps. If u just wan't http responses,
then the easiest method is to run a virtual server on apache at that port,
and then write php3/java servlet or cgi program to send the output to
netscape!
