hai shishir 

i have seen the command suggested by u gprof i have got following problems
in that 

     it asks for gmon.out file that should be created by cc when used with 
    -pg option as the manual of the gprof says 
     
     but my cc command does not create any shch file 
   

pls clear me the use of this command 

does it needs to be run from GUI only ( like some other tools ) as its
name has got g at first ??
