How to start services? (Was Re: SPAM Mail on this list)

Hi

If you are on RedHat
1)As root, type '/etc/rc.d/init.d/<servicename> start', at command prompt. Or
2)Run Linuxconf, find 'Control Service Activity' and start whatever service you
want.

Few suggestions

1)Change subject appropriately
2)Post such type of queries on LIH. This has hardly anything to do with
programming...
3)Add LIP/LIH address to your addressbook, so that you don't reply to another
message, just to avoid typing to address. :-))

Bye
