since Linux is Clone of UNIX , some of the books in unix also apply to linux. some of the good books in unix like 
advanced unix programming By WR stevens , Advanced 
unix programming by Marc Rochkind( beatyfull book(for me)), pre hall,  C -oddyssy UNIX by vijay mukhi bpb.
and the LDP product Linux programming by Matt Walsh .
