[LI] Printer problems, perplexed!

Hi!
	This is a long story!	
I posted earlier that my network card and lpt are not detected
etc. Thanks to help of listers, I could solve it. But then again I posted
that lpt1 is detected but printer is spewing out blank pages. Somehow it
got set right. I had put three lines in /etc/bashrc
	alias rm='rm -i'
	alias cp='cp -i'
	alias mv='mv -i'
I am not sure how I had entered it in, but everytime I login, it used to
print these lines on screen. And everytime I give an lpr command, I got
these three lines on the paper! (and 3 empty pages accompanying it!). I
removed it, and lo and behold my printer behaves perfectly! I put the
lines again, and this time, no problem! (I don't know what I did, but
whatever it is, I hope it helps fellow listers who have/had/going_to_have 
trouble with the printers - or anything else!) I am perplexed!
