i don't know how much this is peaceful as well as efficient but run samba 
and see the directory you wish to put files in on your windows machine and
then just drag and drop.
but issue will come is permissions for writing in that directory.probably
make a directory with writing permissions to you and then link your that
directory as your web directory.
