OK - the manual says to use make lnx - as that is the build of PINE that
will run on Linux.  Similarly, make OSF (On Digital), make BSO (on
Berkeley) etc etc.

However, I get an error - something about crypt not found.  However,
whereis crypt shows /usr/include/crypt.h  - so pico and pilot have been
upgraded, but PINE is not made at all.
