Try the Sun-Inprise JDK 1.2. They obviously stole the stuff from
Blackdown without giving credit where it was due. But they apologized
later. The good thing is that it has a JIT compiler written by
Borland/Inprise.
You should find a link from java.sun.com
$ java -version
java version "1.2.2-RC2"
Classic VM (build 1.2.2-RC2-K, green threads, javacomp)
$ ls -l jdk1_2_2rc2-linux-i386.tar.gz
