Re: [LI] Redirection

U might want to check out rinetd...it'll allow mapping of the port of one
machine to another port on another machine...but i think this is at the
application layer which should suffice for u.

Else try ip_port_fwd (i think)...it has to be compiled in the kernel....

ciao,
Amit

Hi Folks,
When someone telnets to my machine, I want to redirect them to
the telnet port of someother machine ? HOw do I accomplish that ??
Rephrasing the question, if someone telnets to machine 'x' they should
be actually telnetting to machine 'y' ?? How do I do that ??
And Am I right in assuming that 'ipchains' can or should do this ??
Can anybody gimme a sample script on accomplishing this ??
( W.r.t. 2.2.xx kernels )
TIA
Regards
     Khader
