How I Configured my SiS6215 Card ?Visit: !!!!!
http://rajesh.computers.webjump.com/linux.html !!!!!!!

I used the above url to get the file Rajesh posted. Change the video ram
accordingly it wont be a bad idea to compare the file created by the X
configuration utility ( you can run "setup" to do the same ) & keep from
that want is obvious& change what is relevant tp your card ( video ram,
monitor etc.......) ( use your head !) I had downloaded the xsis.rpm file
from linux-india site it didn't install , Red Hat 6.1 that came with the PC
quest cd has support for for sis 6215 after installing you have to run the
update file so that xconfigurator file has support for sis 6215 ( use the
text mode for installing ) it might not give perfect results but trying a
few changes might help ( sorry i cant give the changes cause I have tried
too many changes to remember !! to get it working fine !! get the idea!
-) ) just remember to shut down X its ctrl + alt + backscace.Best of luck
& if the file fron the above url woks thank Rajesh also than him from my
side
With Love & Regards
Ritesh
