The DC 290 is worth it from the semi-pro point of view (that's the camera
I am picking up) but it costs almost 3 times what other cameras cost, so
you really need to have some good reasons to justify the expense.
Also, at this time the 290 has a few issues with the Linux utilities I
use, but they should be ironed out soon.
