Hi,
Cd writer is simply a piece of hardware. It will work, and do its job irrespective of the high level software (in this this case O/S).
So yes it will work.

Hi friends,
My Friend has cd writer in windows 98 .
Is it possible that i can make a bootable cd of linux in windows98 or i have to install cd writer
in linux.
I mean to say what if i copy pcq cd (redhat 6.1) in windows to another cd.
Will it boot my computer in linux and work exactly as pcq cd.
