Re: [LI] how to start daemon at boot time??

Hi,

How to start a daemon process automatically when the system is
booted?

If you are on a red-hat, just use "setup" command to set up one of the standard daemons. If you want some special daemon, you'll have to modify the scripts in /etc/rc.d, I think, an entry in rc.local will solve your problem.
