Hi folks,
Heard that SuSE6.3 is released. I recall A.C asking about USB
support
a few days ago. SuSE seems to have USB support. Also it supports the much talked
about i810 chipset (X windows).

                            Savage3D, Savage4
                            Trio 3D/2X
                     The new XFCom servers support:
                            all ATI Rage 128 chipsets
                            Intel i810 chipsets

usb (scripts and devs to support the USB support (experimental))
This script helps to profit from the USB support provided in the SuSE kernel.
(The USB in 6.3 kernel is a 2.3.23 backport.) Please note that USB support is
experimental and might cause problems. Still, I hope, this script proves
useful for some people. The script does load the specified modules. You may
still load more of them manually, if you want to. The package also contains
some USB device nodes.
