Hi Bala,
Why don't you try ftp install as I found it to be the easiest and
hassle-free ?? just need to install wu-ftp*.rpm
and then mount your cdrom on /home/ftp/pub
using the command
mount /dev/cdrom /home/ftp/pub
and then enabling anonymous ftp access on your server ( it is enabled by
default on redhat )

system with the CDROM has linux (RH 6.1) installed with a network
installed.
To avoid the trouble of opening up the system and switching CDROM, i chose
to try installing linux using NFS - but i am not able to get it working.
