[LI] i erased my bin folder

last day i managed to erase the bin folder (did not pay attention to the old
timers 'dont play root')
but thank god, i had another 6.1 with almost the same installation, from
where i copied the stuff from /bin and transferred back to the corrupt
system.
since then it is working al ok.

i just found out some thing (may be it was a freak)
my dialin.conf.tgz (3380 bytes) could be loaded to
members.xoom.com/DigitelNet from linux box with a total time as claimed by
ftp at 0.00123 seconds and my connection is thru vsnl.

i would like to log the exact connect speed at which the modem connects,
what is the string to be given in modem init ?
