This should help you. Do this after restarting to MS-DOS mode.

loadlin vmlinuz initrd=bootnet.img

or if this fails then try

loadlin initrd=bootnet.img

initrd.img, vmlinuz, etc in the m/c where I want to install RH6.1.
Now, how will I go about installing Linux via the network without
preparing the network boot disk?
