Hi everybody,

I have Redhat 6.1 installed. Netscape (4.7) works fine for browsing and
e-mail.
Whenever I try longer downloads ppp just stalls. Nothing connected to ppp
works.
If I disconnect and reconnect again it works for some time till it stalls
again.I
have so far not succeded in downloading the list of newsgroups either using
Netscape or KDE news client. I am forced to use Windows for reading news.

As suggested in one of the postings in a newsgroup, I upgraded to  to kernel
2.2.13 but this too
did not solve the problem.

Please HELP
