I was told by jaju [sysad at IITB] that there is no guarrantee
that it will not screw up your HDD if you tried to write.
But Khader/Archan says [am I right?] that he uses it comfortably.

I have NT workstation + NT server + Linux.

Simple. Run 'setup' on a friend's linux box.
