AFAIK the AT command supports volume up to three level. So ATM1L3 should not
give any error.

|    i have a 56k 3com US Robotics. I am able to detect the modem but when i
|try to dial. I get the mesg. "Setting Speaker Volume" in the progress bar.

|guys i am spooked!!!! Help required imm.
|p.s: I am using RedHat6.1 which came with the NovPCQ99
