Re: [LI] Wine problem

Hi there,
I am using wine-991212 as shown below. ;-)
My custom compiled wine debian Package
( Still with me only ;-(

avenger@avenger:~ $ dpkg -s wine
Package: wine
Status: install ok installed
Priority: optional
Section: otherosfs
Installed-Size: 11888
Maintainer: Syed Khader Vali <skhader@xxxxxxxxxx>
Version: 991212-1

I never login as root on my system ( except when I want to run apt-get
upgrade ;-)
And I don't use my windows partition other than for dumpng and using Lotus
Notes,
so I mount my windows partition

like this

/dev/hda1 /dosc vfat defaults,uid=1000,gid=1000 0 0

Where 1000 is uid of avenger ( an user )

And in my wine.conf, I have added the line
printer=on in the [wine] section. And I invoke lotus notes by

avenger@avenger.~ $ wine /dosc/notes/notes.exe &

or wine c::\\notes\\notes.exe. I have added this line to the user_apps.menu
in enlightenment menu
So I don't type it now always.
HTH
     Khader
