[LI] Internet nightmares!!!!

Hi all linux gurus!!!

Its me again!!!
HAHAHAHA

Now the thing is i have got connected to the net through kppp but when i start
my browser it gives me a messge that the host name is not found!!
i dont know what host name does it want?
i actually have a lan and i want to set up the internet stuff on the server
...
so the internal name of the com ( server ) is M1
the message that it gives is that it cannot find my hosts...

said i got to configure my socks_ns ..something???!!!!
how do i do that?
