Hi there,
I don't I can help you much about booting with CD-rom,
but I think you can use a floppy by writing the boot
images into the floppy or using a floppy (DOS) with
CD-ROM support and then use autoboot from the CD-ROM
( I hope you must have already done this , How silly of me ;-)

Need a little help... most probably I am missing something obvious... but I
am unable to boot from the CD-drive of the
following machine, which I have to upgrade/re-install RHL 6.1 and install
Oracle 8i EE.
