Subject: [LI] Net access from Linux

Hello,

I am quite new to Unix/Linux but do feel its a great envoironment to work
in. Unfortunately i have to boot Windoze to access Net or simply read my
mail. I have tried configuring dail up access etc. guided by an article
that appeared in Linux-Magazine but without success.

Please help me with the details of programs, conf-scripts, and docs that i
need to know, to use and understand dail-up networking in Linux.
I have a GVC 33.6 kbps external modem and an account with VSNL; are there
any specific settings for these ?

Thanks.

Shib.
