The SRPMs of the binaries are large enough to require a CD on their own, and hence it is not possible to put both the
binaries & the sources on a single CD. IIRC, quite while back there was a thread after the Mar '99 PCQ CD when Atul
explained about the logistics involved in details. 

Anyway, you can always get the latest Samba sources from samba.org
