Many thanks to everybody who answered.  My intention to know was not purely
guided by egoistic reasons.  The community needs to know this kind of info
too.  Also, in my personal opinion, javascript is out and has problems.
PHP3  is excellent (even for creating spectacular graphics effects - check
out their search box at http://www.php.net) and see for yourself.  Java is
still complicated and the learning curve is high.  Anybody with elementary C
knowledge can easily learn and use PHP3 in no time at all.
Let us forgive the guy who gave a non-linux answer to an earlier (similar
