Yes. Open kfm. Goto Edit->Applications, select kwrite (this may be
non trivial - look around for kwrite.kdelnk file). Edit the properties
of kwrite. Go to the 3rd tab, which lists a bunch of MIME types handled
by the application kwrite. Add text/x-java (or whatever is appropriate)
to kwrite.

Click Apply, then ok and now try again.
