There is a reverse-patch available that ports the USB code from 2.3.x to
2.2.x - I don't have the URL here right now - will dig out and post it
here. I have the patch here applied against 2.2.12 and it worked great for
keyboard and mouse (which I tested it on) but no guarantees yet on
Scanners since we need the support to go into the SANE project.
