Whoever else is running misconfigured versions of email on linux -

boss - you are claiming to be root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and posting as 
such.  People are going to be led to think you are the sysadmin of 
VSNL Bombay.

I suggest you see http://linuxindia.virtualave.net for an excellent 
howto on connecting to the net and configuring email properly, by 
list regular Bhyrava Prasad.
