[LI] Unable to compile.

While recompiling the kernel, in the step "make modules"
I get the following error
gcc [options] -c -o dev_table.o dev_table.c
dev_table.o:No space left on device
{standard input}: Assembler messages :
{standard input}: 1352: FATAL_ERROR: Can't write dev_table.o :No space
left on device

The funny part is that df shows about 20% free space on my disk
(/dev/hda6)
Please see the _attached_ file.
Sorry, admin - The cut-n-paste mechanism in Linux still has a long way
to go :(

Awaiting responses..
Regards
shourya
