Hi,
  I edited the lilo.conf file and set the password. But what happened was
that it just asked me the password and did not accept the password that I
had given. After a few frustrating hours, I finally mounted the hard disk
on another comp and deleted the line. Could you please tell me as to why
this password did not work ?
