[LI] OS for a weserver.

Hi ALL,


  We are looking for a webserver which can handle 400,000 to 2,000,000
hits per day.  Of couse the OS as well the bandwidth also should support
these many hits. 

We are also in need of an RDBMS which can handle these
many search hits.

Can linux handle these many hits?  If yes what type of  

      1. Hardware
      2. RDBMS and
      3. Bandwidth connectivity 

I need to do this.

Suggestions are most welcome
