Hi ,

        Boy, you are spot on. I do have an genuine Intel 440 BX Motherboard.
I don't understand what the relation is. Weird if you ask me. I will give it
a shot. Could you do me a favour? Please ask that H/W engineer what is the
logic behind the solution.
