dear soumya,
Satyam is quiet user freindly.I have personally tried out the 25 hour
package on linux.Here is what you need to do
Login as root and add the following lines to your /etc/ppp/options file
name loginname

now add the following line to your /etc/ppp/pap-secrets
loginname	*	password
