The full version of Partition Magic is not free, but MandrakeSoft distributes a
cutdown version of Partition Magic, which cannot be used for general jugglery
of partitions, only for resizing an existing partition to accomodate a new
linux partition, and swap.

BTW, I haven't tried the Lnx4Win myself, but I think what it does is use the
existing DOS partition as a UMSDOS partition under Linux, so that you can get long filenames, permissions, etc., and you can get away without repartitioning.
