Can you tell more specifically why do you want that. Jpeg is itself a
compression format and hence you can not do anything to reduce the size.
And if you just want to keep them frm occupying disk space, there can be
nothing better than 'gzip' :) 

But on second thoughts... even that wont reduce these files by more than 
5-10%.
