The following advice assumes that you're using Redhat Linux. If you're
using Debian or something else, similar commands exist.

For any package foobar, that you want to get sources for, do:

$ rpm -qi foobar

It should give you a URL to the homepage etc. Follow that URL for more 
info.

If you want the exact source that was used to build your RPM, you
should get foobar-version.2.3.src.rpm - which should be available
from the many Redhat mirrors around the world in the SRPM directory.
