Re: Problem with MI/X server & Java



Hello folks,

These aren't X "emulators", they are full fledged X-servers
which understand and speak the X-protocol to client apps.
Please don't confuse these with emulators which essentially
fool client apps into believing that they are running on their
native platform. Some of these X-Servers differ from the
others in terms of the extent to which they implement the
complete X-protocol.

To answer your question - The popular ones are MiX (cheap
but not feature rich), Exceed from HummingBird, X WinPro etc.
