Hello Ajey,

Your situation is quite typical and you will be well
advised to take a look at some installation instructions
available on the Chip specials or on PCQ. You can
also buy any of the many Linux books available
locally. The reason - an answer to your question is
way too lengthy and it will take anybody a better part of
two hours to state it even partially in a manner which
you can understand. hope this helps.

If you have a Linux CD, check for files such as Install.txt,
Install, Readme etc.. Many of these files contain
installation instructions. My advise would be to get a
printout and keep it with you as you begin installation.
