Hello Folks,
A strange problem I encounted in Debian is that sometimes it so happens
that when I boot into Debian, after cleaning /tmp /var/log /var/run
during the boot process, it reboots automatically. I am not able to
understand why and one more wonder is yesterday when that samething
happens, even the swap signature is lost now. I had to makeswap again to
bring it back to normal. The swap partition is fine now. I am using
Debian 2.1.
One more thing is I have 6 GB partition with 2 GB for Debian, 2 GB
for FreeBSD and 2GB for SuSe 6.1. It looks like Debian has no support
for audio in the stock Kernel. Am I right here ?? I am using the SuSe
6.1 as my mail server. And added the line to the ip-up.local to send my
mail as soon as I connect to the Net. ( Of course ip-up.local has been
properly chmoded to execute ). Now as soon as I connect, my mails do not
go. I have manually execute the sendmail to flush my mailq. Can Anybody
help me here and also enlighten me regarding the former Debian problem.
Thanks in Advance
Regards
- - Khader.
