problem working with lesstif

Hi
I have a problem in running lesstif programes
when I execute a  Xwindow program  , I get something like
undefined reference to XtvaAppinitialize   etc etc
I do not know where XtvaAppinitialize  it defined/declared and which
file to include for it to work well

please could you help me
