mouseconfig

Hi everybody!
   The startx command gave fatal error saying unable to open mouse. So tried
to configure my Logitech 3 button serial mouse using mouseconfig (btw I
installed Linux from PCQ March CD). Mouse configured. Kde starts but slight
mouse movement opens all sorts of shortcuts. Windows popping off here.
There. Everywhere. Finally had to Alt F1. Logout. Help please!!!
