getting bored with just 'general vga ' :-(

Hi,
 I have 'Acer M3147V PCI-PnP Graphic Accelerator' display card.
 It works fine with Windows, but with Linux :-(
 
  Can anybody tell me which card should I try .. don't accuse me for being
lazy, actually I had tried a lot of combinations and had even checked Acer
site for the Linux support but no Luck.
 
 I 'have to' switch to windows at the time I had to read even html pages!!
that too just for the driver for this acer card.

every response will be more than appriciated.


 
  Regarding for my previous mail for 'installation on celeron' I cud not
read even the error messages as that rebooting process is too fast.
Thanx for that overwhelming response, it may be problem with the
motherboard.
