Linux on cyrix.

Hi,

I am currently using linux on an x86 with very limited hard drive space
(around 275 MB). I am planning to buy a new machine. I was wondering
about a machine based on Cyrix-MediaGx for the cost reason. Has anyone
used linux on a Cyrix machine ? I understand that the processor itself
provides the sound support, but how does this work with linux ? Are
there any problems as such ?

BTW, Is LUG-India <linux-india@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> same as
linux-india@xxxxxxxxx ??
