Hope U are referring to Quake 3 by "q3". Install the package called MESA
from the second Chip CD. Run Quake3. It will say that some "libGL.so.*" (I
don't remember the exact  error). Copy the "libMesa.so.*" into the Q3 dir
as "libGL.so.*". Query the package to find out the path. Mesa is the openGL
for Linux.
