Dear kunal,
The mail problem in that is it is not recognising the path.you can =
try
'./a.out'(./ - specifies present directory).
If you want to do the permenent change then you should go to =
/etc/profile.
Edit profile file carefully .You will see a line PATH=3D<....> .In that =
at the end of the PATH=3D line you type ' :.' (it means after searching =
all the directories specified in the path, in the end it search the =
present dirctory)
bye

Hi all
I have a book of stephen prata which is advanced unix - a =
programmers guide.
I am trying to learn c from it.
When i write a simple program "to print hello world" and issue a =
command=20
cc kunal.c no error is shown by systems and next command prompt =
appears.
But when i try to run this program by issuing command a.out nothing =
is happening and system prompts bash : a.aout not found not such file or =
directory
like it is not recognizing that command.
is there any other metode to run c programs?
Kunal
