RE: UNIX & Windows...????



Come on guys, all OS have its advantages and disadvantages... there is
no doubt about that. It really depends upon how you define your needs.

Windows 95/98 (or Windoze or Winduhs.. as people may like to call it?)
goes a long way from making computing easier for a newbie... remember
the days of Windows 3.1... configuring... solving IRQ conflicts... and
stuff.

Linux is a UNIX look alike... so some legacy from there... but with
Window managers like KDE, Windowmaker, AfterStep... things become a
wee-bit easier... :) Agreed long way to go... but steps have been to
make things smoother... After all UNIX is known for OS by programmers
for programmers... and definetly not for the faint hearted.

But hey.. then again... No guts, No glory...:)
