Hardware necessary
	Modem
	SoundCard(optional)

Software necessary
mgetty-voice package, on RH linuk mgetty-voice-x.x.x.x.i386.rpm
various sound conversion tools like pvftoau pvftoau etc, these
come as part of mgetty-voice rpm package.
	kvoice package from KDE (Optional)

Configuration method

>From kvoice:
Simple, just run kvoice as root, the go options setings, set the
values according to ur need, things are quite stright forward. Setup the
greeting message. Then reboot ur system. You can receive the call. And
store. Then lanch kvoice, see the voice, mails play.

If you do not have kvoice, the you have to edit this file
/etc/mgetty+sendfax/voice.conf. Edit all the relevent field, the add a
line

mo:2345:respawn:/sbin/vgetty

to /etc/inittab file, then reboot the system. You will have to put the
greeting message in /var/spool/voices/messages OR based on what U have
edited in voice.conf file. This file should be compressed raw modem
format. And the received messages would be in /var/spool/voices/incomming,
again in compressed raw modem format. You have convert it to correct
format to listen to the message.

Hope this helps
