Hi Shanu,

Thanks for the reply. As you might have noticed the version on debian
site is 0.9b (b for beta). x11amp is now renamed to xmms and the 0.9
version is the final. It is yet to make it into the debian archives. I
downloaded the program from ftp.xmms.org and libmikmod from another
site which helps me in playing mod files also thru' xmms (try it. the
new version is better). 

My problem still remains.
